Good morning! Going to blog about a topic near and dear to our hearts this morning. Something that is not only in our opinion a critical factor to being a superior Realtor®, but also a solid human being.
What is Integrity? The dictionary defines it as 'the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness." We certainly aren't perfect - we probably don't always do the right thing; yet to us it seems that doing your best and going to bed at night with a clear conscience is a given.
Why then do we encounter so many with an insistence on doing the wrong thing? Upbringing? Hard wiring? Survival instinct? We don't have the answer, but we certainly know that feeling of relief, trust and love when we encounter those who do wish to do the right thing.
'Doing the right thing' doesn't always mean that we have to save the whales, stop global warming or hunger in order to qualify for such a prestigious title. It's the small things...telling the truth, using our skill-set to assist those around us, lending a hand (and/or ear) when needed...and not being afraid to spread the love. That's it - simple.
